Fun but interesting. It provides me a valuable experience that I am able toimproved my communication and sales skills while also teaching me to handle customer rejection and long working hours.
The good thingsCommunication Skills –I able to interact with many types of customers, which improves my confidence, persuasion, and presentation skills. Sales Experience – It gives me a hands-on experience in sales, product promotion, which are valuable in any future career Team Collaboration - Learn the importance of a team spirit, which able to increase the efficiency of work
The challengesLong Hours Standing – Promoters usually stand for many hours, which is tiring and physically draining. Sales Pressure – Sometimes there are sales targets for us to hit in order to gain commission. If customers are not buying, it can feel stressful.

    Worst working experience
The good thingsSuitable for those that would like to seek a "work-life balance" company. Less to no calls and texts after working hours or weekends.
The challengesImagine working with a leader that doesn't provide clear directions and doesn't provide the bullets for your war. That is what working here feels. No communication between colleagues too.

Perfect place if you have no life
The good thingsGood for those that enjoys long working hours, working over weekends and public hols constantly. Alot of old dinosaurs in the company.
The challengesAlot of old dinosaurs in the company that are not tech savvy. Expect alot of manual ways of doing things. Very messy environment with little accountability from staffs. There is hardly any respect for personal time and people are quite insensitive. Not sure how this passes as a beauty company but is more like a zoo.

    Limited career advancement opportunity
The good thingsDepends which business unit, work life balance as basically work hours is from 9am to 6pm. Bosses will not disturb you on weekends or on their off days and you also can't disturb them. Suitable for working parents. Work well along with colleagues from other departments and they are helpful.
The challengesToo many approval levels which need to go through many rounds of discussions and meetings to get one marketing plan approve. Management is inexperience and no clear directions. They make decisions based on their emotions. Management simply spend company money on unnecessary campaigns. Management will not listen to your feedback and advise. We just do whatever they want. Not suitable if you are looking to climb corporate ladder or a fresh graduate.

    Challenging Sales Target
The good thingsBasically you will learn a lot because you'll involve in A-Z in this company. Free product every quarter.
The challengesChallenging sales target. Redundant rules and regulations reducing efficiency of work. One individual could be doing multiple ppl's job because of very small team in this company.

The good thingsShiseido Malaysia is a big family, I work with many helpful & friendly colleagues. In Shiseido Malaysia I get to know more knowledge about skincare, makeup & hair care tips. I always get some free samples for own used. So, I love my skin, I like be the one of skincare & makeup field of company.
The challengesWork with Shiseido, everything follow the rules & regulations. Have to put more effort & tolerance to complete a job. Few people in a position, so have to work harder to perform myself. Lastly, it's a difficult thing to direct report or meet my superiors.
