The good thingsStable salary and incentives, with OT pay. As a perk, you get affordable price for a meal in the canteen.
The challengesconstraining work environment, bureaucratic organization, struggling for transformation to digital, and very little increment ( less than three digits a year). In summary, lack of career growth and advancement opportunities.

quick hand on multitasking, cross over by participating in various ad-hoc projects which are very different from your actual job scope
The good thingsYou would get in quick hand on multitasking, cross over by participating in various ad-hoc projects which are very different from your actual job scope. It is a good experience to sharpen up your working ability. The connections and network that you may gain in this industry is valuable as you have the opportunities to engage to different walk of life and get to know some prominent figures and players in the sections.
The challengesThe high level of politics that preventing the career growth. Indecisive management and fearful to take up responsibility and payment structure is relatively low

Good place to master Journalism skills
The good thingsIt's a great experience to work in Sin Chew, the No.1 Chinese daily in Malaysia. Mandarin working environment. Friendly colleagues and understanding supervisors. It's a good place to master your journalism skills. Sufficient parking spaces and low prices canteen : )
The challengesAnnual increase of salary is too low. Not able to have a satisfying income even you work for a long period of time (More than 10 years etc). Hence, the turnover is high here.
