    Even with a strong track record, internal promotion may remain out of reach as senior roles
    The good thingsThere are a lot of big events such as Launching with involvement of Ministers and High Level
    The challengesEven, you have significantly proved that you have accomplished many projects and yet when it comes to promotion, even after many..many years.. you will never be on the list. They will hire outsiders for higher position, and you will just there as Executive forever. If you want to join, just for a short while to get experiences, then, you may consider to move for better company.

    Stay Away. bosses here are too demanding and dont appreciate you. Boss no guidance at all

    The challengesDont ever work here if you value your sanity- Management is very fickle minded, medical benefits is one of the worse i've experienced. Boss like to text about work during weekend and after work hours even if the matter is not urgent. Meetings can even take place at night and finish after midnight. Talk ESG but never walk the talk.

    A good place, if you hit the right spot
    The good thingsI have worked in both environments of order and of chaos. This is the one of order. My first six years were pleasant. Helpful colleagues and boss. I worked with a comfortable-sized team that knows the importance of procedures. This was the best years of my time there. The company has good facilities (gym, sports area, childcare, multipurpose hall); and a good work-life balance is possible (I achieved it during for my first six years there). They also have recreational events (sports day, Scrabble); and they provide training courses.
    The challengesThen, there is the environment of chaos. In my final two years, changes happened. A few employees get shifted around and work load was no longer balanced. Procedures often came in second, for money came in first. WhatsApp became 24hrs-WorkApp. Even when you are on sick leave, you are still contacted about work (or worse, to DO work). Salary is slightly below market but the pros above might make up for it. The company also prefers to hire those with someone on the inside already, i.e. family members, like-minded people (not a good thing if you really wish to grow as a company because diversity in the work force leads to diversity in knowledge shared).

    The good thingsProvide essential industrial training, involving industrial products and non-industrial products. Especially on product performance and its physical & chemical properties.
    The challengesMany samples, need to manage time wisely. Every job has its deadline. Work alone, a bit harder but work as a team, accomplish so many things. No bad side, just challenges. I believe it can be accepted.

    The challengesI was directed by the person in charge to create something that would contribute to and give the company a boost and I did something that would help my department be more innovative. The challenge I faced was my partner who could not cooperate with me when doing work

    The good thingsSIRIM QAS International is a certification body where the services cater to all industries . I have the opportunity to glimpse on the process and management system of companies from all types of industries. Ergo, the continous learning process. If you seek for knowledge, then you may want to dive in this company.
    The challengesTechinical terms/specific industry process/specific company process can be quite challenging, but it is not imposibble to learn as guidance and advise will always be there should you seek for it. Ensuring that your work follows procedure and standard requirements set for certification body and maintain the impartiality.

    The good thingsWork life balance.
    The challengesWe work in a high risk area / condition and sometimes our decision making give an impact for the country. Therefore, the salary offered (significantly lower than what we should get) is not worth. One more thing, SENIORITY is the key here for your career development, otherwise you have to be really CLOSE with the top management. How well you perform can be number two.
