    The challengesSalary for interns are quite low, when considering the work load but that is subjective for some.

    The good thingsFriendly and supportive colleagues. Knowledgeful mentor guiding you throughout the internship. Do a little bit of everything. Positive, supportive, and casual work culture.
    The challengesWages for interns are slightly low when compared to other companies, it is very hard to cover rent + transport + food each month.

    The good thingsI have learned a whole lot more than I expected here, way more than I expected. The work culture was also great as everyone was friendly, and patient while also being professional.
    The challengesChallenges include having to juggle between various tasks while maintaining code standards. Additionally, there is rarely a break in between releases, but the workflow is consistent that way.

    A Wholesome Internship Experience
    The good thingsThe CEO After an unpleasant first interview with another company, I had my first interview with the CEO of Softinn, I was pleasantly surprised because during the interview, I felt like I was having an actual conversation with another human being and not being in an interrogation. I was given a chance to share about myself and what I know. The Colleagues While it took around 2 weeks for me to warm up to everyone, I found that I could easily mix with almost everyone in the Softinn Family. While some may be a bit shy, they are always happy to help or answer your questions. The Culture The due dates for assignment are mostly set by ourselves (of course within reason) and there is rarely anyone pestering you. This means its up to you show self discipline and deliver results. When facing any difficulties I looked to my colleague for help and was not once disappointed. I hope that continues even long after my departure.
    The challengesAs mentioned in one of the benefits, your voice is heard and opinions carry weight when working here. This means you have to be responsible for the suggestion and opinions shared so you might want to put in extra thought and perhaps more research before doing so.

    Amazing workplace, I improve a whole lot.
    The good thingsEven though I am still a newbie and inexperienced, the boss is really kind to me, he always teaches me and shows me the right way to do things, he consoles and discusses with me the steps, and even motivates me. It's really helped me a lot personally in many ways. Over the times I spent, I have changed and improve a lot it also affected my lifestyle.
    The challengesBecause I was the only person in the other branch. I sometimes envy the rest because they got to works together, at times I felt a bit disconnected. But yeah it can't be helped, they tried their best to make me feels not disconnected. But this can be improved in the future. Sometimes the information passed is often misunderstood. But we learn ways to fix this by discussing a lot every day, google meets.

    A good starting point for interns to get real-world insights
    The good thingsYoung and energetic colleagues, even the big boss, therefore corporate structure is quite flat and flexible. Deadlines are manageable based on self-allocation thus it is all on your self-discipline. Supervisors gave tasks that really help in learning how industry works, they are helpful everytime. Good location & free-parking. I love the free flow snacks, that really keeps stress away!
    The challengesCreativity and new ideas are the key sources for this fast-growing company. Therefore, sometimes you will need to do a lot research and be proactive. Keep your passion and you are able to cope any challenges here.
