A good place for new joiners to start their audit journey. Hats off to KL team.
The good thingsGood working environment, friendly colleagues. A company that cares about work-life balance, such as company trips, annual dinners, birthday celebrations, and, most importantly, monthly entertainment activities where you can participate in different sports events during off-peak periods. Besides, there are an acceptable number of weekend jobs (usually year-end stocktakes) with OT pay. Other than that, superiors won't be texting you during weekends. The superiors are always ready to teach and solve problems when you have a question during an audit engagement. Everyone is talking nicely and will try to solve problems first, instead of getting mad and shouting.
The challengesMixing up bonuses and commissions. Less guidance for new joiners to fit into the company.

Highly recommended for those starting their careers.
The challengesAs per other accounting firms, manpower is always an issue. There is always a deadline and it is quite pressure some time.

Learned a data analysis tool, pivot table
The good thingsDuring my working life in SQP, I was taught to use pivot tables to do data analysis and I was surprised that I was able to summarize large volumes of data in just a few seconds. So far, I worked in a friendly working environment, having colleagues and managers are willing to share what they learned, helpful to attend my audit issues, interactive, learn together and support each other. Mostly I were in charge of trading and manufacturing cases to finalise.
The challengesI faced in long working hours, tight deadlines, dealing with difficult clients, and managing workload during peak periods. It trained me to managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Think before signing contract
The good thingsSupportive colleagues, suitable for fresh-graduate. Can sign contract for study of professional exam. It is a good place for learning.
The challengesPoor management team. Increment and bonus are ridiculous. Heavy organizational politics, not suitable for a lifetime job. Except subsidy for study, i would say minimal employee benefits and salary are lower if compared to other competitors.

The good thingsPartners and Managers support. focus on staff development. provides training for updating the latest standards, laws prevailing.
The challengesMore stringent rules that regulate the industry. More demanding customers which does not justify with the fees.
