Has no tech progression for programmersThe good thingsThe good thing is that working on outsourced project means the workflow is free from design swing from the directors who doesn't know how to ship a game that actually making revenue.
The challengesThey have knowledge and industry formula for art aspect to making revenue, but they are using the same tactic and tried to overrule how tech/code/programmers works and how to build a game from scratch which doesn't work with years of work down in the drain.
Arts aspect should never be part of programmer mandate, it should be only managed by directors/managers level, but somehow, they take more priority and hijacked programmer workflow.
Financial turmoil because they didn't want to make a game that people want. They want to make a game that target only for themselves.
Didn't able to provide solutions when raised, this company demonstrate a good level of gaslighting and not even tried to handle it properly internally.
