Premium Education Hub with World Class Educators
The good thingsHad the experience of working closely with many education leaders in Sunway . The Sunway culture is supportive and progressive that focuses on their staff and students. A place that is equipped great facilities for staff and students.
The challengesThe company could look into hiring enough lecturers to reduce burnout. Work can become excessively overwhelming with extra paper work and subject preparation for large student number. Work distribution could have been handled fairly if there were more staff to share the workload.

I learned so much in the span of 3 months, if given a chance for more time I would have taken it.
The good thingsThe work environment was amicable and comfortable to be in. It enforced an attitude to learn more and to be better each time when there were projects to be done. The supervisors and the managing director were kind beyond my expectations, and they were always keen to teach than to reprimand for mistakes.
The challengesMany new and interesting projects that requires quick critical thinking. It got me out of my comfort zone to be more than average. Moreover, the esteemed organisation is big and it requires many departments from each faculties to communicate and to perform cohesively, and to meet each departmental objectives appropriately.

Working in a great tertiary education institution
The good thingsWe are constantly updated on the development of the institutions. The employer pays well (in salary, bonus and/or increment). I am empowered to make my own decisions and is fully supported by my line manager. Staff development is fully encouraged and we get to attend the best training workshops. The working environment is really great and everyone is so warm and friendly at this company.
The challengesIt is noted that most of the training workshops are related to development of soft skills. I find it difficult to source for workshops related to my job scope, as my work is quite specialized. However, we do get to attend additional training programmes if it is relevant to our job and it is fully supported by the management, which is great!

    Walk the Talk
The good thingsGood strong interpersonal skills in leadership. They observes the employees to find out what they do best. They are direct, but sensitive. Motivating, inspiring and know how to inspire. The organization encourage growth for the staff. There are traning programs line up all year round. There are clearly stated purpose/mission and desired results of the company.
The challengesNeed to catch up with organization fast growing pace. Can't have the attitude of slacking, there need to be consistency in upgrade one self in knowledge and learning skill. Working with teams requires load of good people skills. There are loads of opportunity to consider because the organization allow you to find your best self in transfering within department.
