I was attached there as a technician where I were required to learn and conduct sampling together with the Ministry of Health representatives, do in-situ and ex-situ water testing, visit all 9 water plant around Melaka and be a part of the audit team and meetingsThe good thingsAll the clerk, executives, manager and technical crew were very supportive and always teach essential knowledge that one cannot learn in the classroom.
The challengesThe challenges was : To do lab experiment routine and test all water sample collected from sampling point before submitting quality report to the lab manager. I was required to commit with all the water sample testing for the whole week every month. For me, working alone in a lab and finished more than 20 sample per day can be so boring and exhausted. I enjoy going out visiting customer (house), contractors, client, and do ex-situ testing and consulting.
