    The challengesOne of the main challenges was the fast-paced environment, which required me to quickly adapt and multitask across different responsibilities. Additionally, the lack of remote work flexibility meant all tasks had to be completed on-site.

    My Internship Experience at Syarikat Ong
    The good thingsMonths ago, I did my internship in HR & here's my thoughts which I believe I should share to everyone on my internship journey so that you can have a great experience like mine as well : 1. Comprehensive HR Exposure: - My internship covered all HR functions, providing a holistic understanding of the field. - I had the opportunity to get hands-on experience in areas I was interested in and needed to learn to build my HR career. - My supervisor, Yen was supportive and ensured I was exposed to relevant HR tasks and processes. She did try her best to fulfill all the knowledge that I want to know. - I get to learn all the things that I used to learn during my degree in HR including recruitment, performance management, HR Operations and many more! 2. Learning Opportunities: - The company offers excellent opportunities to gain extensive knowledge across various HR functions. - I participated in internal training sessions, including one related to company secretarial work. Although not directly tied to HR, I found it valuable in understanding the company’s broader operations, especially as the company is expanding and hiring for multiple roles. (Since I did the recruitment process, I find it more clear to understand candidate resume when I went thru their JD) 3. Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture: - The company actively promotes employee engagement through events and celebrations such as: Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, and Birthday Celebrations Annual Dinner, Token Day and other special occasions - The inclusive and festive atmosphere makes for a positive working environment. - Last Token Day, we went to OU to play bowling & had a nice dinner at a 4 star hotel. 4. Facilities & Convenience: - The office is well-equipped with a pantry that includes: Microwave, fridge, snacks, and drinks - The building is strategically located near public transport which is near to KL Sentral, making commuting easy. - There is a café with affordable price on level 12 and a surau for Muslim employees, ensuring convenience during lunch and prayer times. 5. Overall Experience: - The office environment is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. - The internship provided valuable knowledge and skills that I believe will benefit my HR career moving forward. - The allowance provided is RM1000 which is great for an intern! Can buy sephora + eat sukiya ady >_<

    The good thingsColleagues and supervisors are friendly and willing to lend a hand when needed, creating a pleasant workplace with teamwork. The partners of the company are also friendly and input efforts for the employees in terms of joining events as a whole, showing consideration towards employees. The company organizes various events to create strong bonds among each individual in the company. Having a good working environment and location which is near the LRT, MRT, KTM stations, etc. as well as good work-life balance for employees and benefits such as birthday celebrations and leave provided. This workplace is a good place to learn about the real world and real work life.
    The challengesGuidance are clearly provided and would be better to have more samples shown, to provide more precise and clear guidelines for work.

    The good thingsflat organization structure which empowers self management and greater decision making ability. Friendly environment, all colleague willing to share their knowledge and keen to help in problem solving. No politic among staff, all senior and manager are helpful, you won't feel stress working with them. The location of company is accessible via many different public transport. Chance are given equally among staff, notwithstanding of age and experience.
    The challengesWell work segregation, clear job scope and policy. Creating clear career path way through setting up company policy. Enhance employee salary packages and benefit such as pantries to attract and retain employee who yearn for work life balance and exciting workplace. Alignment and communication among department which help in better serve of clients. In house training to build and enhance employee knowledge toward the challenging and diversified world nowadays.
