    The bad outweighs the good
The good thingsIs only the work life balance
The challengesIs when you have to be a helpless ‘yes man’ but still get thrown under the bus by your boss. So my advice is, when you see a job ad from this company, you run to the other direction like you’ve never run before.

Bad Management and too much Internal politics
The good thingsnot so bad work life balance. Good for short term work. But after a year you won't progress in achieving anything personally.
The challengesLess than stellar management. Too much internal politics going on(I know it's a government agency but doesn't mean you have to take the toxic culture in). If being gas lighted isn't something you're looking for in a work environment here isn't for you.

    Great work life balance
The good thingsThe benefits, flexible working arrangements(based on trust, as long as your task is complete, no one would question your whereabouts)
The challengesoffice politics & hall chats are unmanageable. you have to be really good with "yes boss" and be really careful on what u share during these 'chats'

    Politic game
The good thingsYou can enjoy much benefits such as annual leave, paternity leave, maternity leave compensation leave. The salary is average and you will be wondering in the offer letter they wont mention your role much. Be ready for frequent Job rotation
The challengesNeed to tolerate with politics and corridor talks among the colleagues. You need to be good in "yes sir" you bosses for good increment and bonuses. Have to be thick skin as they can throw more task as more as they can.

    Good benefits
The good thingsGood colleagues, flexible working arrangements, good benefits, lots of free food (definitely wouldn't go hungry here), not as busy as some companies that I've worked before (seldom need overtime, stay back or working on weekends), very near to shopping mall, salary is never late, easy access to public transport.
The challengessometimes, the office can be a bit too noisy, the management can also improve a bit. where the company is headed is also not very clear but all in all, still an okay company to work in.
