    The good thingsWorking at Tech Terrain College (TTC) for more than 5 years has been a very rewarding experience. One of the aspects I have enjoyed the most is being part of an environment that focuses on student development and industry readiness. It is fulfilling to contribute towards shaping students’ career paths and seeing them grow into confident, employable individuals.
    The challengesOne of the key challenges I have experienced is in terms of career progression. Having been with Tech Terrain College for more than 5 years and consistently performing similar responsibilities, I am keen to take on greater challenges and grow into a higher role. I understand that as a smaller institution, opportunities for advancement may be more limited compared to larger organisations, and many team members have long tenures. However, this can sometimes make career progression slower and less visible. That said, this has not affected my commitment or performance. I remain dedicated to delivering my responsibilities to the best of my ability and continuously contributing to the college’s goals. Moving forward, I would appreciate clearer pathways for career development, whether through expanded responsibilities, role enhancement, or structured progression opportunities, so that I can continue to grow within the organisation.

    The challengesIn my current role, I balance HR duties, employee engagement, and office administration. While the workload can be challenging, especially with competing priorities, the supportive management and team make it manageable.

    The challengesThe work environment is fast-paced, which keeps things dynamic and engaging. However, at times it can be quite demanding when multiple priorities arise at once. Despite the pace, teamwork and support from colleagues make it manageable.

    I love to be here for the commissions.
    The good thingsColleagues all okay and very supportive. They will help and guide you through and through. Commission for sales is high according to tier. Free parking area. Flexible break time. Salary and increment yearly if you talk it out to management. Bonus yearly but solely based on sales performance only.
    The challengesMicromanage by boss. 6 working days. High pressure of working environment. The commissions can be claw back if student withdraw within 3 months. Commission will only be getting 1 month after claim.

    The good thingsThis small college is changing the way education is being offered to students in the country. They have many industry partners who get involved in their students education and employ their student immediately. This is a great model to solve students who want a career and study at the same time.
    The challengesThis is a new model so there is some challenges as with all new systems. Innovation and change is never easy but the end result is always worth it. We need to help them change the system!

    The good thingsA lot of learning and exposure to the education industry. With times changing, they are keeping up with the times by changing their business model. Times are tough but these guys are walking the talk.
    The challengesOpen minded and easy going, the management is non judgemental and allows everyone to be who they wish to be. This might not suit more traditional people but they are trying to foster a open environment.
