If you value your career, financial security, and self-respect, look elsewhere. This place is a disaster.
The good thingsIf there’s one thing this company excels at, it’s finding new ways to exploit its employees. Their self-invented, ridiculously exploitative concept of "ReSoMa" (Rehat, Solat, Makan) forces employees to work an additional unpaid hour per day; under the pretense that break times should not count.
The challengesMy time at Telaga Biru Digital was nothing short of a cautionary tale: a workplace where nepotism, favoritism, and outright bias are not just tolerated but deeply ingrained in the company’s DNA.

Fun workmates, maybe okay for fresh grads to gain some experiences, but very bad management. Please don't stay too long if it starts to affect your wellbeing :')
The good things- Fun workmates (THE ONLY REASON I'M STILL HERE). - Helpful seniors who are always willing to guide. - Free lunch every day, which is a nice perk. - It's a Malay Muslim company, which might be a plus for some. - Conditional Attendance and phone allowance (RM 150) - Congregational Prayer every day
The challengesLet me be frank here: - a once a month working day on saturday. - Fresh grads start with a salary of RM2k. The net pay is around RM1.9k including allowances. - No opportunities for career development. You have to wait for maybe 5 years or until someone leaves before you can even think about moving up. - Bonuses? As rare as a blue moon. The one time they gave it, it was under RM50. - Salary raise? Just as rare. Not even 5% of your current pay. - They cut your OT pay for things like "oh, the cut was for when you went to the toilet, got a drink, or walked around." now now, what if the staff OT all the time in front the computer doing work?? yeah, they assume all their staff are slacking off. - Micro-management is rampant in the department. If we wanna walk to the pantry or to the toilet, we'll be questioned. As if our salary is RM10k, for us to be chained to our chairs and computers. - They actively encourage OT. If we don’t do OT, they ask why no one did any last week. - Medical claims are low (RM50 per visit, capped at RM2000 a year). - Department leadership is terrible. They don’t know how to communicate with staff—just point fingers without listening. They don’t lead, they just act bossy. They’ll marah at staff in front of others, showing no respect whatsoever. - No recognition for good employees. - BUT, they’re always quick to find fault in staff. - After probation, not promised for salary raise. - They’re so desperate to save electricity, they make us turn off the air cond and lights during lunch. Now we all kinda suffocating while eating. - The workload is overwhelming. There are deadlines every month that must be met, often with last-minute scripts being handed out. - not given the opportunity to try new things. no challenges for staff to develop new skills. every day must do the same thing.

    Great Experience as Receptionist
The good thingsLearn lot new thing working in office, staff very friendly, senior staff love to teach new entry staff, plus staff very care to each other like all worker as family. And senior staff love teach few things about their work because they want new entry staff gain some knowledge out from comfort zone. Lots of activity that company arrange for staff example like Usrah 2 time per month, bowling or picnic.
The challengesHonestly I say, no bad things to work here plus i'm quit from this job because I got offer to continue my study. Love to work here, because everyday I leran new things, new job specification and new guest.

The good thingsLearn about publication, steps of script editing from raw till the design process. Learn the types of book covers, spine, the cost based on per pages, how pages are bind together and the mistakes that should lead to misprinting a book.
The challengesNot many difficulties once known what needs to be done. Most always communicate with editor and designer to be able to complete without any problems. Most challenging would be the sudden changes or additions that often uses more space than what was already been predicted.

The good thingsI am learning a lot of thing such as audio recording, meet up with new education person specified in religion. Improving my video editing skills from making storyline to storyboard, shooting video until coloring the video and making the final video and post it out on youtube channel.
The challengesFamily business is not a good business because there is a lot of limitation and people that closer with family members tent to get more attentions and also believe their word without doing any discussions.
