The good thingsGood working opportunity to learn semiconductor device test equipment and testing knowledge. It's a good exposure to device testing strategy and setup from more than one single semiconducting test house or manufacturer.
The challengesVery limited career ladder available for escalation or job promotion in both technical and management path. Significant management level is non-local and unable to feel the local market level or difficulties.

The good thingsGood team work. Projects outside Malaysia requires networking with global clients and team members and the environment was good during travels. Information was cascaded well to lower levels of employment, and company practised \"profit sharing\" whenever possible
The challengesNo emphasis was given on training and employee upskilling. Most expectation was on the job training from existing team member. External training or certification was not in priority list for them. There is also no clear path for career development.
