Work Life at The Asia FoundationThe good thingsThe working environment was pleasant and I learned a lot as it was an office where colleagues were willing to share with you their experience and knowledge of how things should be done. The boss was also very good in instilling and atmosphere that was a joy to work in. I improved on so many of my secretarial and administrative skills e.g.learning how to use computers and efficient filing systems
The challengesThe challenges were in the beginning when I had to learn all the various procedures of doing my job. However, with help from the other colleagues and the various employees' training programmes that I attended, I was able to overcome these challenges.
