This review was actually very late because I never really knew we could leave reviews. I only work here for less than a month due to personal reasons but I wish I could've stayed longer due to the fact that everyone was actually nice. My manager was probably one of the best human being I've ever came across. The CEO was actually very understanding of my decision to leave and even tried to be flexible with my working status. Honestly, can't complain too much. Had my fair share of fun. Solid
The good things- It was one of my first official corporate jobs. So I learned a lot. - The product works so marketing and sales were never really a challange. - HR was understanding and cooperative. - People around are always willing to help. - The CEO was actually genuine and nice and attentive.
The challenges- The only thing I didn't really "like" was that we (Sales and Marketing Team) needed to have daily reports about what we've done and achieved for the day. This leads to us having to go home around 30mins later that we should.

The good thingsA place full of opportunities. Learned plenty of new things from different areas and departments, in turn developing and maturing in the industry. Not something you usually get at other places.
    The challengesCut-throat. Adaptation is key

A great place to learn and explore new opportunities.
The good thingsI've started working here 7 months ago. I have absolutely no experience in sales and marketing however, the CEO, Dato' Beatrice and the team are very helpful in guiding me, and answers to all my concerns. It's a good place if you want to grow fast in your career. You'll learn new things everyday and you are free to learn everything in the company. For example, even though you are in sales, you can still learn what they do in editorial and productions. The salary package is good. And for your every efforts and achievement, it'll be recognised by the CEO and the management. In conclusion, I learnt a lot here and still learning to be a better version of myself here. Thank you Dato' Beatrice for giving me this opportunity!
The challengesIt's a fast-paced job. You need to always be ready to learn.

"Fulfilling collaboration and growth in a supportive environment."
The good thingsI've been part of The IBR Asia Group for 4 months, and it has been an incredible journey marked by unparalleled career growth and a nurturing work environment. This company stands out not just as an employer, but as a true career partner. At The IBR Asia Group, career growth isn't just a buzzword; it's a tangible reality. The company places a strong emphasis on employee development. This commitment to career progression creates a motivating atmosphere where every team member feels valued and challenged to reach their full potential.
The challengesHere, challenges are viewed not as obstacles but as stepping stones to personal and professional development. One of the most invigorating aspects of working here is the presence of challenging opportunities that push us beyond our comfort zones.

A chance giveth, a chance to taketh
The good thingsLearning you've got an eye to identify pain points and compiling information is handy when you know you'll eventually have many plates to keep spinning down the line.
The challengesThe commute is definitely its own beast. Aside from that, there's a lot of things to pick up which will take some time to master.

I saw amazing career growth, and care from the management and team around me. This is a wonderful place to be.
The good thingsI have been in this company for almost 3 years now. I witnessed firsthand how the organisation cares for its people. Starting from a low position, I was very quickly promoted and given multiple raises based on my performance. This is truly an organisation that recognises an employee's efforts, dedication, drive, etc. The management and CEO especially have nurtured my growth and encouraged me to leave my shell of insecurity, and self-doubt to grow into the capable person I am today. All in less than 3 years! I am so glad to have joined this organisation. I don't see any other boss, or manager ever being able to do this for me. Thank you Dato' Beatrice and thank you IBR!
The challengesAll the challenges we faced helped me grow into my role and I will be eternally grateful for them.

    Great company with more opportunity
The good thingsThey will pay for your effort. Very challenging and interesting job. Employers will take care of you if you take care of your job well.
The challengesI was a fresh graduate when I join this company. Madam was very kind. I was doing well in designing magazines. I find it a bit difficult situation with co-workers. I regret that I leave this job long years ago. It's very very challenging and no lazy work. You will be paid for your efforts.

    Attractive Salary
The good thingsI kind of miss having an editor and a team to discuss opinions with. But I don’t miss needing to keep regular hours, though a regular salary is rather attractive
The challengesI left a few months ago because the seniors felt my writing was not up to par. I beg to disagree - I think I write very well, but they wanted me to adapt to connect to the reader. They said there has to be a purpose to why we write something for a client. I suppose I don’t want to cater to an audience, as I believe I am the master of my own writing. So I freelance now, it’s not easy.

    Can learn a lot
The good thingsThe place gives you an excellent opportunity to design a multitude of things and they have really nice senior graphic to help a lot. Although I am a sales staff, I picked up quite a bit of design from the design department. From videos to animation to print designs, you can learn a lot.
The challengesdo not go there if your spoken English is not good - you will lose your job. I saw someone who could not speak English well, struggling with getting her job done at all, because all instructions were in English only and she sort of clamped up and did not understand. Neither did she ask them for clarifications. After many months of this, the stress level was high, and she quit

    Growing Platform
The good thingsThe company has evolved from publishing to an integrated communication hub, so the pace of growth is exciting yet heady and fast. The seniors are helpful.
The challengesPros and cons I feel. Lots of opportunities to learn and adapt, but it can be quite hectic too at the same time.

    The challengesSo far nothing

    Good place to learn
The good thingsGreat place to start building up your portfolio. This place teaches you how to multitask, you get to wear many hats and try your hands on a lot of things. Great colleagues. Boss is pretty chill, always open to good suggestions and is willing to guide you provided that you’re willing to learn. They’re gonna start providing free lunches next year.
The challengesNot much about the company itself. Projects are deadline based - no matter how careful you plan things out in the beginning there’s bound to be unexpected things coming up so the challenges are more on how you manage things, how you manage your time and how you manage people - clients and the team
