    The good thingsFriendly co-worker. Good environment. Lots of social activities for work life balance. Company keep on growing. Opportunity to explore new experience with other departments. Benefits and perks above expectation. Accessible from various area. Nearby good shopping area. Yearly increment. What else? The longest employment I have ever had. Not so perfect but very difficult to find other place like this company.
    The challengesSince we are in the attractions, resorts and hotels industry, we are facing lots of challenges. It is not easy to become the world's best tourism company, but we are moving towards that direction. The challenge obviously on the standard of services that we are offering to the guests. We need to ensure our quality always on top and up to date. The KPI set by the management quite high and only those who willing to works extra mile can survive with this company.

    The challengesShould have better management with goal setting skill. Very heavy office politics. Very obvious in selection own circle of promotions and inner circle staffs. GLC organization, funds free flow. No organization kpi settings. Change of directions with no dateline. Very costly to maintain and meet goal.

    Good company and perks
    The good thingsCompany perks are great - medical, hospitalisation, dental, and even optical. Good for married folks and especially those with kids as the insurance covers them too - not much use for single people. Exposure to varied leisure attractions and hotels from industry, right down to business, and operational levels.
    The challengesSilo working environment. Departments do not communicate efficiently with each other. Even units within one department have challenged working with one another. Management tend to lack focus in terms of direction and leadership - can be frustrating when trying to complete a certain project. Blame game play and displacement of responsibilities a norm.

    The good thingsWork culture is not normal, & fun! A lot of play mixed in with work. People are generally very nice & easy to work with. Great benefits, above industry average.
    The challengesIn a situation of post-merger between 2 companies; some personality conflicts / clash of work cultures. Some suspicion, prejudice & blame game going around between both camps. A lot of \"taichi\" - not owning up to mistakes & not taking up responsibility.
