Poor Management, High Stress, and Extremely High TurnoverThe good thingsFrequent event and celebration, staff cafe offers meals at affordable prices, good company benefits
The challengesI worked at Time Energy (solar industry) under Time dotCom. I was hired as a Finance Specialist, but in reality had to manage full-set finance, procurement, and stock inventory on my own. Although two interns were eventually hired and later converted to permanent, manpower remained insufficient and there was no proper team structure.
The company operates with limited manpower, forcing employees to handle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines, which creates constant pressure and stress. Management talks a lot but rarely follows through with real action. Employee turnover is extremely high, within half a year, MANY employees resigned.
Workload concerns were ignored, and management instead questioned employee efficiency. Long working hours were common, including late nights and weekends, yet there was no fair compensation despite the heavy workload and sacrifices made. Some systems are still manual. Overall, the work environment is overwhelming, stressful, and unsustainable.
