    Terrible, horrible, toxic, exploitative, chaotic and hostile workplace. Think twice before you decide to work here.
    The good thingsIf you’re working in warehouse outside of the HQ, it is still acceptable. However, working for this company is a waste of time.
    The challenges- The organization operates with a dictatorial management style. - Key management exhibits a lack of empathy toward employees. - Employees face unfair treatment in the workplace - Arbitrary employment movements occur without clear justification. - There is a lack of recognition for employees' contributions. - Work-life balance is not respected. - There is a lack of communication of expectations to employees.

    Great place to gain many experience in chlor alkali industry, but have minimal benefits, apart from the basic EPF, socso, AL, and unsuitable insurance package, especially for those working in extremely dangerous site
    The good thingsTMK Chemical Banting (specifically) is filled with young energies, making the momentum towards excellence, very high. The factory manager is also very supportive and helpful in many ways
    The challenges- limited work-life balance, as the factory just started up in 2023. - interference of company owners in daily routine and their inconsistent verdicts on tackling some issues

    Bus stop nearby office
    The good thingsThere is a bus line that stops near the lobby of the building which can bring you to the Lembah Subang LRT station.
    The challengesBus stop not sheltered so must remember to bring a big umbrella.

    The good thingsEverybody gets a little small gift on the first week of every month which is a nice surprise. Usually snacks or drinks which is something to look forward to.
    The challengesNot much food that you can walk to. Need to drive out or order delivery.a

    The challengesCons: - small family company no clear policy = one man show - internal operations overlap each other, be sure you can handle this conflict if you want to be there - honestly for a fresh, very little you can learn. All the manual processes here are outdated outside

    The good thingsCompany willing to spend money for safe and comfortable environment. Recently expanded pantry area and every month have small presents for staff. Just some snacks and drinks but still nice.
    The challengesLift is very slow and parking is very jam as well.

    The good thingsSalary is good and so are the increments, bosses don't discriminate against candidates just because you are young. Bosses are open to any suggestions for improvements and allows juniors to lead the projects as well.
    The challengesBosses have high expectations and can be quite straight forward with their feedback. Have to prepare properly before presenting work to the bosses

    Worthwhile Internship
    The good thingsAs an intern, I was able to go through and help out departments other than the one I applied for. There is definitely a learning curve to familiarise yourself with the company's products and clients, but Taiko provides great training for new hires and my supervisors/colleagues were more than happy to provide guidance when needed. Overall, this company has a good working environment and lots of opportunities for the people to grow vertically and horizontally. Also, free lunch occasionally and lots of corporate events (i.e. Christmas party).
    The challengesAs mentioned, there is a steep learning curve to familiarise yourself with the company's operation, but the manager responsible for the training program is very helpful and is always happy to provide guidance when needed!
