Good starting pointThe good thingsThe work system is very structured and adequate guidance is provided by advisors / group leaders. A work flow checklist is provided just as in any Japanese organisation to make sure that work is done to their standards.
Inter discipline cooperation is not bad, but could be better. You will be given much opportunity to learn and share; rather than doing a one dimensional job.
The challengesSalary is typical of that in a Japanese organisation, not that it is lower than industry standards, but probably needs to be attuned to the ever-progressing market standard. However, that was back in 2011.
Technical capability of the engineering is restricted due to lack of all-rounder engineers and lack of cross discussion. Most may want to seek greener pastures after a few years.
