Management often shows confidence in decisions that lack any clear reasoning or justification.
The good thingsFree meal although it's vege only.
The challengesToxic environment. Good teachers are not valued here at all. However, once this teacher makes even one mistake, it will be magnified. On the other hand, teachers with a negative attitude do not really face any consequences. They can continue being lazy, while the management will ask other teachers to help them complete the tasks that they themselves failed to do. Yet, when these teachers show even the slightest improvement, they are praised. Some teachers rely on their seniority and act as if they are superior just because they have been here for a long time. They do not respect other teachers, and they even talk back to their superiors in a disrespectful manner. Some teachers do not do their work during working hours, but after work, they frequently stay back for overtime to create the impression that they are very busy. Some of them do not even seem to know what they are busy with, and the final outcomes are not positive. Yet, these “busy” teachers are still praised.

Dedicated staff still work here, but they truly deserve better than this environment.
The good thingsOne benefit is the provided uniform; since it’s compulsory for all staff, you don't need to spend money on a professional work wardrobe.
The challengesValues are displayed on the wall, but not practiced in the halls. You may notice that Google reviews for this school have been turned off. This makes it even more important to read the feedback here on Glassdoor and other platforms like Indeed or Jobstreet, these experiences are real. The school preaches "Respect, Love, and Gratitude," but over-pampering students has led to significant discipline problems. Serious incidents often result in only a verbal warning or a reflection paper or giving presentation to students. Official hours are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, but 45-minute lunches are recorded as a full hour by HR. For HRTs, this 'break' will spend with students. Despite this, there is heavy unspoken pressure to stay late just for appearances, valuing presence over actual efficiency. Management is unstable, with constant shifts and contradictory instructions from different leaders. Some excessive meetings filled with 'games and sharing' that could have been emails.

    Survival of the fittest.
The good thingsMedical benefits, lunch provided, uniform provided. Large school compound. Students polite towards teachers.
The challengesTurnover rate is high. Many absentees everyday. Burden the other colleague as they need to cover absentees period. Work-life imbalance. School prefer to contribute more, even to sacrifice private time. A lot of paper works. Sometime feels like more Chinese school than Chinese school.

The good thingsNothing that can be said
The challengesThe communication language is mainly Mandarin although it is an international school that teaches IGCSE syllabus. Too many rules like we are in an army.
