My experience at Unikop was frustrating due to disorganized management that blamed workers, failed to pay KWSP, and paid salaries as late as the 11th of the next month. Policies constantly changed without warning, and there was no clear direction from leadership. However, the supportive team environment and great colleagues were the only positives. To improve, I suggest removing the entire leadership team and bringing in management that values employees and provides stability. The good thingsThe best thing about my time at Unikop was definitely the people. I had great colleagues who were always supportive and worked well together. The team environment was collaborative, and the friendly work culture made the day-to-day experience much more enjoyable. Despite the challenges with management, having strong peer relationships made a big difference in making work feel more bearable.
The challengesWorking here was honestly a nightmare. They didn’t even pay my KWSP, which made me feel like I was being scammed right from the start. On top of that, salaries were always paid late—sometimes up to the 11th of the next month, which made managing personal finances a constant struggle.
The management was a mess—they never took responsibility and always blamed the workers whenever something went wrong. Their planning was terrible, and it felt like we were constantly trying to fix their mistakes. Policies kept changing all the time with no warning, so it was impossible to keep up or feel secure in the job.
The only silver lining was my colleagues, who were great to work with. But honestly, the way this company operates is so disorganized and disrespectful, it felt like they were just taking advantage of their workers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
