    POOR MANAGEMENT AND INVESTMENT
The good thingsMANAGEMENT REALLY TAKE CARE THEIR EMPLOYER ONCE A YEAR BY GETTING FEEDBACK THRU THE SYSTEM
The challengesMANAGEMENT WON'T MAKE INVESTMENT FOR SERVICE IMPROVEMENT EVENTHOUGH ALL FEEDBACK HAS BEEN SHARED FROM THE EMPLOYEE WHICH MAKE THEM REMAIN UNCOMPETITIVE AGAINST COMPETITION. THE MANAGEMENT NEED TO OPEN THEIR EYES AND ACCEPT THE REALITY THAT INVESTMENT IS EXTREMELY URGENT NEEDED FOR THE SURVIVAL AGAINST COMPETITOR WAY FORWARD.

    UPS SCS working experience
The good things- Learn a lot of things about air, ocean and ground freight forwarding. - Helps to build a strong and resilient character in a person to be able to be ready and embrace all kinds of situations in a rational manner. - Friendly operations team to support in your day to day customers' shipments.
The challenges- The company should not manage the freight forwarding division based on the standards of UPS small package courier services, as freight forwarding and small package courier are totally separate type of services. - There are many tasks and multiple KPIs to achieve which leads to less work life balance.

    The UPS Malaysia Experience
The good thingsThe managers here even though they are always busy, but they make it a point to review weekly with you and share with you what are the best practices that can improve your work efficiency and approach. Managers in UPS do not treat themselves as high and mighty but instead they will treat the subordinates as same level of colleagues and encourage us to always provide feed backs on continuous improvement. When we have any assistance or advise needed anytime, the management always encourage us to approach them on it. Thus, it is an open door policy in UPS. This company very often has a variety of internal training y the talent development division to further improve the staff working in UPS. This shows the commitment of the company to invest heavily in its human resources.
The challengesTime management to handle many customers and different tasks are crucial in coping with the the environment here. Of course there are always multiple KPIs to gauge the individual and team performance which can be challenging in a positive way to ensure yourself to do better. Need to juggle around and find a balance in handling your internal counterparts domestically and internationally since this is a big company.

    Reputable and Strong Company !
The good thingsJob security - no retrenchments as UPS plans well at every stage. Career growth - if you put in effort, you keep progressing to next level. Promote from within - they seldom look for external people to fill up their management vacancy, they groom internal people.UPS upholds very high standards on integrity and safety. The importance that is given to safety practices and integrity motivates me.
The challengesYou have to be good in multi tasking.

    Great interview experience
The good thingsI am an intern in UPS. As a intern, I must say that the interview was a great experience and an eye opener. The interviewers shared good insight about the company and how they progressed in the career path. Apart from that, I learnt so much from the interview itself. They also provide feedback and area of improvement that I need to take. I have attended many interviews and no other company has done that so far ! I am looking forward to be employed by UPS after my internship
