Great people but old school managementThe good thingsManagement throws money at you and expect you to perform wonders. Most employees are friendly and helpful. Dedicated and good support staff. You are given the opportunity (need to) work independently, and to take full accountability or responsibility for action.
The challengesManagement does not know how to engage staff; and should not resort to divide and conquer, which leads to staff resignations. Now that a new management is in place, hopefully staff engagement will improve. You will need to make a firm stance in work/life balance.
