A well-established, stable company that can be challenging but rewarding to work for.
The good thingsThe company is well-established and is relatively stable and well-run compared to similar-sized companies in the oil and gas industry. The company engages in a wide variety of work so there are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop one's knowledge and skills. The work environment is challenging but rewarding.
The challengesEmployees can occasionally become overworked. The lack of formal, structured training can hinder work performance. Company management can implement new policies and procedures without prior notice and sometimes informally.

    induction motor maintenance and rewinding
The good thingsthe environment is friendly. the supervisor and technicians assist me a lot during my internship. they taught me on induction motor and rewinding. they also taught me on how to do induction motor balancing. most importantly, they have helped me improve on my troubleshooting skills.
The challengesthe only challenge the company has is the equipment. most of it are in need of calibration but technicians made due with what they can use and improvise.

    Working in Wehaya
The good thingsThey sometimes do give you room for improvement and flexible time to do your task. Occasionally they do listen to you on the overall company's improvement and savings that can be made. Never failed to provide free drinks crate for major festive (eg Gawai, Chinese New Year and Raya)
The challengesExpect to be given a lot of tasks outside of your scope. Too many unhealthy politics within depts. These are mainly due to employing/keeping some poor management staffs which gradually effecting company's overall performance. It has a very high turnover rate of resigning staffs due to poor handling from Human Resource. Yearly Bonus seasonal. No Yearly Increment.
