Engineering Manager (New Product Development)The good thingsI experience the matrix reporting within Malaysia, Kuching plant and Nilai plant, where I report operation issue to Nilai while report Technical issue to Kuching. Plant are small, although there are some difficult character people, but are easily get around as compare to many others same size industries. not many reporting needed but result represent performance.
The challenges1) Executives and leaders are experience workers and some are pioneer in the factory, changing their mindset are quite difficult, however can be achieve.
2) too many product mix that need to take care, however one you understand the individual process, you are in the right track. (get you technical knowledge strong)
3) the process applying a lot of heat thus environment are hot.
