A good training ground for those interested in gaining practical experienceThe good thingsI learned a great deal on the job from performing legal research, drafting documents, participating in due diligence exercises and liaising with government bodies. Fantastic working environment with friendly, helpful colleagues and kind bosses.
The challengesAs one of the larger firms in the industry, it naturally follows that they have a lot of clients and as such, working long hours may be necessary to complete all the work that needs to be done. The specific role I worked in also didn't offer a lot in terms of career development, however it may be a different story for associates.
