Flexi working environment with good benefits
The good thingsFlexible working hours, benefits especially medical, provide child allowance and also medical for your parents (optional). 30 days annual leave.
The challengesSenior management seems to favor more for international staff rather than local. Hard to get promotion unless there is an opening, we need to apply for it.

Speedy interview (less than 30 minutes)
The good thingsStraight to the points
The challengesToo little time given. The interviewer do not even want to know about your experiences and backgrounds. It is just like \"Do you have ITIL?\", \"Do you know SQL?\" and etc. Might as well you just put it in the job advert that anybody with this set skills are employed directly, no need to go for all the interview hassle. The interviewer do not even care to sell their company to the interviewee

The good thingsFamily oriented concept, improved communication skills, great benefits to the staff e.g. medical & insurance (coverage for whole family/parents), training, allowances for children, salary increment every year (depending on performance evaluation)m chances to learn international languages
The challengesCommunication with other country, especially those who don't speaks English. It would be better to have more languages classes to offer.

    Overall positive experience
The good thingsI was working with this company for 7 years. Worked three roles in total. Good work life balance. Good medical. Plenty annual leaves. Salary was alright but depending on which grade you are in. General service salary is ok but not great. National officer would be better. Income tax free.
The challengesCareer progression is very little. Pension benefits are bad compared to EPF.

    National Professional Officer
    Jun 2015
5 to 6 years in the role, former employee
    Review
The good things1. Good work-life balance 2. Good medical benefits 3. Pension scheme 4. Tax-free salary 5. Opportunity to work with colleagues from all over the world 6. Small chance to travel depending on your level and job scope 7. Non-profit (international) organisation, so there are no \"sales\" pressures 8. Relatively new office with good & modern furniture
The challenges1. No EPF or bonuses, only 12 months salary 2. Fixed increments up to 10 years, then you have reached the ceiling 3. No employee development plan 4. No merit based system - performers are not rewarded, and slackers are not punished 5. Senior roles are only for international staff - non-Malaysian. Capable Malaysian employees have no chance of advancement to top management
