    I have gained new experience and a lot of new things during my internship for 5 months in the organization. They really taught me well.
    The good thingsThe employers really taught me well on how to work in the department as I was pursuing my studies in Library Management. So, I really learned how to catalogue book well, manage the library systems and many more.
    The challengesOne of the challenges during my internship was during school holidays as they don't have much staff under the department, so it was a bit chaotic in handling the kids who came to the library. But, overall it was really okay.

    The good thingsYes. I'm very enjoy work at Bank Rakyat because their staff very friendly and have a good attitude and responsible in working. The manager is very soft spoken and very kind to their staff.

    Good place to gain experienced in Operation Management
    The good thingsCommunicate with customer through front face and phone call whether inbound or outbound. Employer give every opportunity to new staff includes entertain customer, processing applications, disbursement, deal with third party on behalf YBR, joined program organize by YBR such as student development program as secretariat.
    The challengesLack of human power so need to work extra time in order to complete processing and handling sponsorship application within target time. inefficient of system in order to process application within the time period.

    The good thingsThe best place to learn about the real work nature for internship student as there are few departments play different functions and thus the job rotation helps the internship student to gain many work experience.
    The challengesI do face the challenges as it is new things for me but, all the staff includes the manager and executives were very helpful and they used to guide me very well. Consequently, I managed to finish my internship period with flying colors.

    Good for fresh graduates to gain their office jobs experiences
    The good thingsFor a fresh graduate like me, Yayasan Bank Rakyat teach you a lot especially on how to gain knowledges, experiences and how to expose yourself to the public in the real working situation environment. As a Talent Rakyat programme participants, what this company did, they'll train, polish and maximize your soft skills from zero to become at least as a intermediate users, such as multimedia skills (Like me, now i'm more understand on how to use Adobe AI, Photoshop, Acrobat, Word 2017, Excel 2017, Power Point 2017 and etc properly). Beside that, they also teach you on how to groom smartly and act properly when you enter corporate world. When you graduate from this programme, i am pretty sure that you will be more prepared and confidence to working in real world out there.
    The challengesSometimes, there is a lot of programmes need to be done in a month. You must sacrifice your weekend rest day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to ensure the smoothness and succession of the programmes. Fast working pace here can be a bit stressful while working here, but it is good for you. It train you to become more alert and punctually when you do your tasks.

    The good thingsGreat atmosphere. Less pressure. Low monthly target in financing compared to other bank. Lots of benefits for permanent staff such as high amount yearly bonus, easy to apply loans for it own staff, overseas holidays sponsored by the company for selected staff and many more.
    The challengesIt frustrating me to follow strict procedure set-up by the bank's headquarters where most of my income came from the commissions I've received from the percentage of the customers's loan itself. So, some of my customers withdraw their applications and lots of the applications were late to be approved of. This is due to the strict procedures and out-of-date systems used by the company.

    i do internship in Treasury department, where their have 5 department inside Treasury that help to operate which is Sales, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Equity and Fix Income, where all department was really important to control liquidity in Bank operat
    The good thingsExecutive, Senior Executive and Manager was really good in analytical skill, where they all very alert on current situation that happen and reflect on every their make decision. Moreover, the environment in Treasury Bank Rakyat was really strong where we can see the teamwork, management, leadership and communication each department to support Treasury as whole. They all share the knowledge. skill, information with student internship for every single aspect and every element.
    The challengesThe challenges i found where i need to do presentation on Monday briefing on doing analytical thinking where i need to forecast the level of Ringgit Malaysia for next week based on news that happen on the last week such as from political stability, investment, economic performance, public debt and differential interest rate.

    The good thingsTo do a task from different department and also attend customer which is different personality. Understanding the system of company that was interesting and also based on Syariah.
