    Good culture, low basic salary,
The good thingsHigher bonus payout than other companies. Good working culture among colleagues. Good opportunity to gain knowledge in engineering world.
The challengesAgreed with many of the reviews here that the basic salary is not up to the market standard. Job requires a lot of self-learning but seniors are generally open to coaching. Career advancement for younger staffs is quite slow, which is typical Japanese culture. Management should consider investing and training younger staff/high performers on skills for future career advancement (i.e management) as the current management skills in the company are lacking.

    WORSE more than GOOD overall.
The good thingsColleagues are pretty harmonious and friendly. Bonus payout are higher than average among the market.
The challengesBasic salary package is LOW by today's standard. Allowances are paid at an extremely low level, almost same as what has been paid in the past 15 years, though it has been hiked up 20% to 30% in recent years. Career progression is running at its lowest pace.

Above average annual bonus payout, but poor management failed talents to shine, and below average salary demotivates the employees.
The good thingsDepending on projects involvement, we get the chance to travel overseas for business purposes. Above average bonus payout annually, not forgetting to mention 1 month contractual bonus annually. Indoor carpark provided for early comers.
The challengesBasic salary are not up to par, failed to meet the market salary and not competitive enough. Trip claim and reimbursement of money are still managed in a traditional way. Go paperless, go for digital, and best of all, go green! Overtime hours payment only starts counting from the 21st hour. Shall implement mentoring-buddy system for the ease of talented fresh graduates. Let them shine, because they are the future generation of the company. Invest in them!

The good thingsVery good office culture where everyone can fit in seamlessly regardless of the employee's position. One big plus point would be there are no office politics within the department itself. Generally the jobs are relatively complicated and requires some tinkering. However, with the right amount of effort, most of the jobs are manageable.
The challengesThe support from superiors are minimal when it comes to the technical aspect of a job. Generally the support are poor from the management, mostly jobs are supported by peers amongst engineers, especially those who are more experienced. Besides that, all of the engineers are overloaded most of the time. Hence, a good time management and job prioritization skills are required to survive.

The good thingsThe company provide great opportunity to learn various knowledge in a project as well as do commissioning at site. This position could have Experience on leading a plant. Overtime given for executive staff at condition.
The challengesTime frame given too short to complete a task. Although the this could happen anywhere but with proper project planning, believe this could improve so even better quality product could be delivered. Most of the time to work as a team so to know each and everyone in the team is greatly important.
