Compensation and Benefits Manager
About the role
Minconsult Sdn Bhd, a leading engineering consulting firm in Petaling Jaya, Selangor near Asia Jaya LRT station , is seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our talented team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies to attract, retain and motivate top talent.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee the development and administration of the company's compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and employee benefits
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards
- Liaise with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits
- Analyse compensation and benefits data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements (Total Rewards Strategy)
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies that support the company's overall human resources and business objectives
- Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation, regulations and best practices related to compensation and benefits
- Provide training and guidance to managers on effective compensation and benefits administration
- Other areas to focus on -Performance Management Systems (PMS) , Employee Surveys & Engagement, KPI Development & Alignment , Insurance Programs , and Reporting Staff Discipline , Reconciliation reports
What we're looking for
- Seasonal professional of 8-10 years of experience in a compensation and benefits role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data
- Proficient in the use of HR information systems and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with Malaysian employment laws and regulations
