How to become an Architectural Assistant
This role is for Professional Architects registered with the Board of Architects Malaysia or Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia. Graduate Architects may be accepted as part of the practical work experience requirement for registration.
- 1.Achieve a minimum of 3Cs in SPM, including one mathematics subject.
- 2.Obtain an STPM, Foundation in architecture, or a related built environment qualification.
- 3.Earn a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture recognised by the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) or pass the LAM Part I examination for non-recognised degrees.
- 4.Register as a Graduate Architect upon completing a two-year masters degree or passing the LAM Part II examination.
- 5.Accumulate two years of work experience and pass the LAM Part III examination to qualify for registration as a Professional Architect.
