How to become a Development Engineer
At least a degree in engineering is required for the role. Research skills and creativity in prototype design are an advantage.
- 1.Graduate with a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering.
- 2.Register as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- 3.Gain three years of work experience including one year of professional career development training under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
- 4.Develop high research skills and proficiency in 3D modeling softwares such as AutoCAD.
- 5.Register as a Professional Engineer with the BEM.
