What's it like to be a Network Engineer?
Computer networks allow employees to digitally communicate and exchange electronic data. Network Engineers are in charge of these networks to ensure the efficiency of business operations. Network Engineers usually work in offices, engaged in various tasks from installing and configuring equipment such as routers and servers to troubleshooting network issues. To protect company data, they apply security measures such as anti-spyware software, using strong passwords and firewalls. Network Engineers also implement data backups as part of network recovery in times of a power outage or security breach.
