What's it like to be a Salesperson?
The job of a Salesperson is to sell a variety of products or services to customers. This requires having good communication skills and the skills to develop business relationships. Some employers include additional responsibilities such as taking stock of available inventory, generating administrative sales reports, fostering existing business relationships, or seeking out potential new leads for making a sale.Tasks and duties

How to become a Salesperson
There are multiple pathways available to become a Salesperson. You can start with freelance sales, retail, or enterprise sales. Being knowledgeable with the product or service helps in being adaptable with different target markets. Experience in dealing with several types of customers may be an advantage.
- 1.Depending on the industry, some roles do not require a bachelor degree. Having a minimum educational high school education is considered but completing a business-related bachelor degree or higher is preferred.
- 2.Learn which industry you want to focus on. Some sales positions require a level of expertise which may require specialisation in certain product or service categories. It's advisable to be keen on knowing the industry and the market segments they work in.
- 3.To become a success in a Salesperson role, performance matters. Having good relationships with clients and having the ability to generate new business is the core measure of success for any salesperson. Becoming accomplished in this role can lead to promotions as Sales Manager, Regional Sales Directors, or even C-level positions.
