The good thingsGood in hands on experience
The challengesmanagement will expect higher expectations form you but with minimum supervision. They will expect you to do everything by your own and judge if you fail.

    Bad working environment
The good thingsyou will growth and learn independently.
The challengesManagement is not professional. They will talk behind you for your weakness to other staff. No career development since most of the staff do not want to change and stick in their comfort zone. No communication within internal staff and guideline or career path from your HOD. For new staff it might be difficult for you to adapt with the surrounding. You might be encountering several problems with staff since most of them will act unprofessionalism.

    Negative environment
The good thingsHardly had any positive things. Can just said, good in having hands-on experience.
The challengesToo many. Lack of workers, engineers will do hands on job such as fill in media, cutting pipes etc. Lack of teamwork from managers, due to family oriented management. The company doesn't even care about worker's welfare. Lose a part of your body, they will continue to ask you to the same job without compensate.

Good for entry level graduate but toxic working environment
The good thingsYou will learn a lot but you learned by yourself because your superior not willing to guide or help you.
The challenges1.Family business, too many family members in this company, so you need to follow their way if you want to survive in this company. 2. High workload and you need to do everything, in terms of paper work, technician job, deal with clients etc 3. No work life balance because sometimes you have to work during weekend but the company refused to pay you instead. 4. Unprofessional HR team

Good for fresh graduate but bad working environment.
The good thingsLearn a lot of things, however the things that I learned was by myself.
The challengesToxic environment, family business. Once you been hated by one of the family, the whole family hates you. Need learn things by yourself with no proper guidance. If need to go site, go alone and in case you're hurt or accident, the HR won't be helpful and you need to the stuffs by yourself. The HR loves to minimise the amount of fund used as much as they can.

I am not only handle finance, but also in human resources matter
The good thingsI learned a lot about ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 which both we need to get trained outside. However, my employer provide me with basic training and another training by outside trainer. I also learned in few topics related to these ISO such as preparing procedure, document changes and risk assessment and opportunities.
The challengesApart from Finance, I was instructed to take care of Human Resources which I only have basic knowledge. Nevertheless, I managed to handle human resource matter such as preparing salary, offer letter and so on.

    Experienced in multitasking
The good thingsLots of thinga can be learn. Not only about current position as engineer but also a bit of management things. Great bosses around that very friendly and very helpful to enhanced your career. Less supervison and you can learn it by yourself.
The challengesSince the global oil and gas industries are slowing down there are less manufacturing in production. Less work makes me a bit lazy.

    Working in my company.
The good thingsThe environment and the working people are good and kind-hearted. The work pace and workload are manageable. The boss is very friendly and always teach you should you need any clarification. 5 working days per week which allow for work-life balance. Totally feels like working in family business. Good environment for students and fresh graduates who are searching for placement in the oil and gas.
The challengesEverybody feels like a family member to me, making it difficult to act professionally while maintaining integrity. Somehow every steps of the way feels like I am mixing work with pleasure. Most of the times, it brings good teamwork and cooperation, but sometimes it will not good for the company as a whole especially when integrity are required (for example IS0 9001 and ISO 14001 documentation).
