In 2012, the majority shareholding and management of the company was acquired by Malaysian Bumiputera and the company was transformed into a chemical formulation and manufacturing operation servicing the oil and gas market and water treatment specialty for chemical needs.Due to the downturn of the oil and gas market, the company transformed to become a technology provider for industrial wastewater treatment and water recovery solutions in its bid to support industry sustainability and ESG initiatives.Acme Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is located in the vicinity of Port Klang town.The Company offers competitive remuneration package, hospitalization and PA benefits, and career advancement opportunities. Working hours is 9.00 am to 6.00 pm 5-days a week.

    The good thingsyou will growth and learn independently.
    The challengesManagement is not professional. They will talk behind you for your weakness to other staff. No career development since most of the staff do not want to change and stick in their comfort zone. No communication within internal staff and guideline or career path from your HOD. For new staff it might be difficult for you to adapt with the surrounding. You might be encountering several problems with staff since most of them will act unprofessionalism.

    The good thingsHardly had any positive things. Can just said, good in having hands-on experience.
    The challengesToo many. Lack of workers, engineers will do hands on job such as fill in media, cutting pipes etc. Lack of teamwork from managers, due to family oriented management. The company doesn't even care about worker's welfare. Lose a part of your body, they will continue to ask you to the same job without compensate.
