    Very good working environment
The good thingsThe team is build up with many knowledgable process safety engineers, good for learning for younger engineers.
The challengesMany projects and require full commitment from everyone in the team.

    Great experience
The good thingsThe people working here are good and multiracial. This company is an ideal platform for career development. They have a good development plan and ensure your learning curve is fulfilled. The higher management of this company are very down-to-Earth and are easily approachable, making the working environment fun yet challenging.
The challengesThe pay can be increased as the starting pay is low. However, this was when oil prices were down, so excusable. No work-life balance as there are a lot of projects with tight deadlines and be prepared to work until midnight on certain days. More integration and team-building activities can be held to improvise the working atmosphere.

    The team was excellent!
The good thingsThe managers and team are very friendly, they are keen to help subordinates in investigating the issues and supporting each other out in need. In addition, the office is pretty spacey and is located strategically in the heart of Jalan Tun Razak. You wouldn't want to miss the opportunity working in Worley Parsons!
The challengesWhen the systems are down for upgrading, we are challenged to meet with deadlines with all the resources that we have. In addition, we are required to finish every tasks that is given; not just to reach for the target, but to do what we can contribute to each other.

    Good Working
The good thingsGood working environment with good happy colleague. The company practice flexible hours, however one must need to fulfill 40 hours a week. Benefits are good somehow.
The challengesThis company main business is about oil and gas, now it is the downturn time.

The good thingsThe colleagues are helpful and willing to help and assist you whenever they can. The working time is flexible so you can really get more free time than the rest of other companies. That's a good thing since you will be working the whole day non stop, depending on the workloads.
The challengesThere was no proper training since I joined the company, training should be provided for a new employee to guide he/she in any aspects of the company. They should be familiar with the services given before they take on any projects to avoid any problems in the future.

The good thingsIts top management doesn't plan and understand what would be required to improve the operations. Issues as well as suggestions given to improve are being ignored as they are indecisive and do not wish to put in extra effort to address those problems.
The challengesThings would be much better if they have a competent management.

The good things4.5 work days per week. Flexible hours.
The challengesNo proper planning by the Management team in terms of proper resources and work segregation. Head of Departments are lack of competency and lack of managing experience.

The good thingsThe role and responsibilities of the job scope is challenging. There are many opportunities to learn and grow.
The challengesRestructuring are very common. No real leadership qualities and no directions. Even management is not sure of the priorities that need to be resolve. Most of the time staff will need to be very independent and learn from the indecisiveness of the leaders. There are no subject matter expert (SME) for guidance.

    Great MNC support arm
The good thingsEverything is so new here in BSC there are a lot of opportunities to build new process and to improve a process. A great place to explore, a great place to contribute your experience and knowledge. A place you may contribute your idea freely!
The challengesBusiness Service Center Malaysia could be following WorleyParsons global steps to be more open to the employee and work in more flexible way as BSC is supporting global and working on projects which need to deal with people from different time zone.
