    All you can learn buffet
The good things- The company provides generous benefit to the employee such as holiday, bonus and other perks. - There are plenty things that can be learned if you wish. - Helpful supervisor and knowledgeable in their respective area.
The challenges- No proper delegation were made or a centralized database in case of somebody resigning, thus researches or findings from previous generation are to be researched again by newcomer - Company direction changes when new director came - Using old machinery which makes quite tricky for data gathering and spare part purchasing

    Great Experience
The good thingsI got to practice what I learned in university as I involved in the HIRARC project. This was a great experience for me. Besides, the employees in Alpha Industries are also very friendly and helpful. I also got the experience to present safety related slide in front of others. This experience surely prepared me well before get into environment and safety related field in the beginning of my career
The challengesThere are no challenge besides for me to adapt to the company environment. After few days I get used to it and can follow the flow as the employees are very helpful. Lastly, the company maybe should add more safety employees and have a specific office for safety and health department.

Duration of practical time my responsibility is controlling office reception. Next is filling all the document of received from customers for example utility bill, invoices, expenses, revenue n so on. After that, Collecting all the sources document to record or key in into Microsoft excel. Create statistics for every month to identify how much profit or loss and create a system of asset to list down every single asset into Microsoft excel for data collection and audit purpose. Lastly preparing financial of statement.
The good thingsTeam work and take all responsibility of work over my head n start to do alone.
The challengesTalking with other when working time.

    Opportunities for learning & improving
The good things- Great working environment (good colleagues/surrounding). - Many things to learn & gain experience. - Many benefits towards employee. - Salary on time & yearly bonus with annual increment. - Chances for hands ON work.
The challenges- Too many meetings (some are not even effective). - Company direction changes when new MD comes in. - Too many machine troubles & quality issues. - No systematic work flow - always adhoc task. - Difficult to purchase items (including spare parts). - Technical wise still average.

    Best Experience & Knowledge
The good thingsHere as a copper industry company all the machine are fully automated. To have extra experience here is the best place you will ever know. Bonus also quite good due to \"COPPER\" industry. As a Maintenance Engineer you will learn: a) Electrical - DOL, Star Delta, Inverter, Soft Starter, SCADA, induction heater, DC drive. b) Mechanical - Welding, Piping, compressor, Chiller, boiler.
The challengesDC drive has been obsolete. need to be change to others but DC motor is not really common cause AC has took place. besides that the torque between AC & DC motor was really different. So our study stop halfway where the upgrading project DC to AC system not fully completed.
