What’s it like working at Alpha Industries?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Alpha Industries appreciate the friendly and helpful colleagues who create a supportive working environment. There are plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced seniors, with valuable hands-on experience across various technical areas. The company offers generous benefits including bonuses, annual increments, and holidays, whilst teamwork is emphasised throughout the organisation. Additionally, employees value the technical experience gained from working with automated machinery and exposure to both electrical and mechanical systems.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. The company direction and objectives can change when new management comes in, which may affect clarity and focus. Several employees mention that work-life balance could be improved, with multitasking requirements and pressure to complete projects quickly. Older machinery and equipment can present challenges, with some systems requiring upgrades and spare parts being difficult to purchase. Some staff have also noted that there is no systematic workflow, with many ad-hoc tasks and a lack of centralised documentation, and there are frequent meetings that may not always be effective.

    All you can learn buffet
The good things- The company provides generous benefit to the employee such as holiday, bonus and other perks. - There are plenty things that can be learned if you wish. - Helpful supervisor and knowledgeable in their respective area.
The challenges- No proper delegation were made or a centralized database in case of somebody resigning, thus researches or findings from previous generation are to be researched again by newcomer - Company direction changes when new director came - Using old machinery which makes quite tricky for data gathering and spare part purchasing
