The aim of Aero Malaysian Engineering Centre (AMEC) structured training program is to develop potential engineers and technicians for aircraft maintenance and repair activities. It is tailored for their career path enhancement as well as to school-leavers as an avenue for proper professional training in order to meet the strict demands of the industry.AMEC professional training system will form the baseline for trainees to gain recognition as competent aircraft maintenance personnel and a platform for their future career development. The training provided shall meet the high standards for Part 66 promulgated by both the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and European Aviation safety Agency (EASA) Part66.AMEC Academy Sdn Bhd; a Bumiputera wholly-owned, self-sustaining, Johor-based, aircraft maintenance training institution, AMEC to train future Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Category ‘B1.1’) and Technicians (Category ‘A1’) as per CAAM certification as its main program.
