    The good thingsIf you have not worked here or coming from a different company you will definitely find alot of great things here like the inclusion and diversity and support from top down etc but once you are are part of the Management team you will say otherwise
    The challengesBecause i have been with them for more than a decade now, seen how far they would go protecting and upselling their brand to attract new comers, too bad they didn't do enough in retaining the existing ones

    Good, but beware Feedback Culture
    The good thingsSalary is highly competitive, benefits are numerous, leadership is largely supportive, work environment is physically comfortable.
    The challengesVibrant 'Feedback Culture' where even tiny errors are not tolerated well, and some people get targeted more than others for so-called 'random call listening' that is clearly not random at all. Do you find that your colleague is constantly making erroes, yet gets no feedback, while any slight misstep you make results in a feedback? That's the culture.

    The good thingsWe practice diversity and inclusiveness. which means AMEX do not judge fresh graduates based on black and white qualifications but instead focus on the practical qualifications such as attitude and soft skills. This is the future where educations is heading towards and AMEX is definitely leading the industry.
    The challengesThe exposure I received had been overwhelming. Many colleagues here had been here for at least 3 years because they love the culture and benefits here.

    The good thingsAwarded Best Seller Big bird during Christmas during my service 8 years, Handling Challenges as being corporate companies coordinator, with an angry and hungry customer providing service that beyond the customer expectation. With the excellent service which was provided repetition orders were made which give me great joy and satisfaction
    The challengesDisappointment due to some teammates who do not appreciate the passion of being customer service but my greater passion for my customer builds my self-esteem and commitment. Flexible working hours as my family is part of commitment as I am the sole breadwinner. The environment leads to my long stay for 8 years till it has been handover to Foodpanda

    The good things- lots of opportunities to grow - internal movements encouraged - above average pay - good culture overall - provides avenue for staff to development (trainings, workshops, programs) - strong leadership and not afraid to bring up new leaders - satisfactory perks, benefits and allowance
    The challenges- needs more job functions/variety of roles to come in to the Malaysian campus - with a global organisation this big, the bottom workers day to day work might sometimes be too transactional/not as meaningful to feel a part of the business - policies are pretty rigid in order to ensure consistency globally

    The good thingsThis company has awesome working culture among colleagues, especially the feedback culture, whereby we share the area of improvements and opportunities. The best part of it, most or all of us are very keen to learn and develop, we take in with open mind and growth mindset. If you leave this company and move to others, you will experience a great culture shock as this culture is so unique and I can say only exist in this company.
