Ample Effect Sdn Bhd was founded in the year 1993 as a manufacturer of cosmetic products with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) status awarded by the Malaysian government.We are staffed by a highly skilled in-house R & D team led by two renowned French formulators with life long experience and expertise behind them, having themselves previously headed the relevant departments of European cosmetic manufacturers and beauty-skincare houses of world class distinction.We are also the only Company to have, for many years, collaborated closely with Chitin-Chitosan Research Centre (CCRC) of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Our close working relationship with them places us in so unique a position as to enable us to tap unreservedly their expertise and experience in their extensive Chitin-Chitosan R & D where no other parties have been privileged to, thereby qualifying us as the pioneer :-in the effective utilization of Chitin-Chitosan as the principal ingredient in the formulations of various beauty and skin care and healthcare products; andin its applications to the manufacturing of many varied downstream products - ranging from those for industrial uses, to agricultural, to therapeutic, and to functioning food category use.Consequently, this close relationship led to the formation of Chito-Chem Sdn Bhd - the only Malaysian company of its kind to produce, and from whom we acquire an uninterrupted supply of, chitosan as raw material.Our recent collaboration with Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research (MINT) to develop “Wound Healing Dressing” with the use of Chitosan has been a direct result of our firm commitment to further enhance the production of Chitosan-based biotech health maintenance and beauty-skin care products.The corporate base of the Company was further strengthened with the recent equity participation of MAVCAP BIOTECH, a venture capitalist company under the auspices of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance.
