The best company I worked with so far and I'm always looking back my time in this company.
The good thingsI love the working culture in this company. I feel so motivated to kick start my day when working because it offers flexible working hours and 2 days working from home. The leaders are so supportive and they put no barriers which easier to share opinions and suggestions.
The challengesToo many leader in one department might get confused sometimes

GREAT EXPERIENCE & SUPERB TECHNICAL SUPPORT FROM SENIOR ENGINEER
The good thingssuperb technical support from senior engineer. They are not kedekut to teach you from A to Z, as long as you are willing to learn. I'm enjoying working with AJSB.
The challengesYou have to be a quick learner and hardworking to explore new things/method/software. It's very stressful to be working with AJSB, but itd doesnt be a problem because it'll make you satisfied once you can solve the problem and you can 'see' your design once it has been constructed!!

Great place to learn but requires better management
The good thingsYou will be exposed to a variety of different projects and popular analysis software used globally by Arupians and also top MNC companies. Grasping engineering fundamentals are crucial here and I would say it is our strength compared to other companies in Malaysia. The staff here are a great bunch and you'll definitely make lots of friends here. A lot of workshops and learning packages are provided to their staff if such request is needed and brought up. Lastly, the benefits are above the norm compared to other consultants and the bonus payout due to profit sharing is superb if your performance is great.
The challengesIndividuals are expected to juggle up to 6 projects at one time and it will be overwhelming for a junior engineer. This is due to problems with the management and also hiring of engineers. The other problem would be with the top management. They are too involved with every single detail that of the designs where it comes to a point where your projects hit a bottleneck.

    Road Work
The good thingsProper monitoring of road construction start from bottom layer or subgrade which is control by proof rolling, wet mix layer until pavement layer which is control the pavement surface by checking using IRI ( International Roughness Index ) method etc.
The challengesGeotechnical problematic area which is marine sandy type that have some settlement and then rectified using some remedial approach and workable. Also method of solving some piling problem due to very wet marine clay and depth soft clay area.
