    BARformula is a pioneer in zero waste technology for the oil palm plantation sector. Our Technology converts 100% of the organic wastes from the palm oil mill into nutrient-rich compost (BARcompost), which is recycled back to the Oil Palm Plantation as a superior substitute for chemical fertilizers.     The good thingsIt is an exciting culture. Everyone is involved in some aspects of BioEngineering and gets to travel to deep remote areas I would never have dreamed of. The people are very tech savvy and you better know your stuff. The salary is great and bonus is excellent for performers. Very experimental culture. Work hard play hard.
    The challengesCan be working until late sometimes on project deadlines and travel can be up to weeks if you are a project manager. Tough if you have a family. Great for singles. I love Jakarta and now it is like my second home. Must always have ideas. Not a place if you want to 9 to 5 job.
