Good Learning Curve and Commitment for Short Term Period
The good things- Exposure to various environments and situations which require critical thinking and problem solving skills. - Handle more than stipulated job scope, able to learn various things. - Learning the importance of Emotional Quotient and being able to practice it. - Learning to be independent and aggressive with minimal guidance and supervision. - BCard for rebates, claim for medical, work travel, dental, phone bill, etc.
The challenges- Insufficient workforce in some departments which contributes to imbalance work life for some and in need to review and hire the proper candidates for their job title. - Basic salary is average, max. bonus is average, increment is minimal. - Politics with gossips and secrets, lack of transparency, communication and proactivity. - Require practice of ISO and implementation of centralized database system with a bigger storage for hardcopy archives. - No company trip and team building activity. - Uneven distribution of workload with a lack of career development. - Can be relaxing or too stressful for a few.

Good experience and working environment here
The good thingsYes, really enjoy. Many benefit and experience gain. Get to know top management level in private and public sector. Can engage with them and get new knowledge in their field. This kind of job also can encourage us to become more confident, creative and innovative with work independently in many situation.
The challengesDealing with top management people are not really easy. It challenge us to think more creative strategic in handling the people in this level. Boss satisfaction are really important, and we have to meet the deadline as soon as possible before the given time.

Berjaya Land Berhad - Property Finance
The good thingsWorking life there is quite relax. Sometimes can go out for coffee for a short while.
The challengesThe difficulty in the department is the political issue and management procedures. It is more to operation work. Sometimes I have to dig information by yourself and have to observe superior's mood. There is a good place to train your EQ.

Hardship working with one of the BOD
The good thingsExperience a really professional environment with a very nice office layout. Working near a shopping complex which is a good place to relax and take your mind off things. A chance to communicate and handle big company projects and liaise with government bodies in context with the need and nature of work. Opportunity to travel to sites and the chance to improve communication and also soft skills.
The challengesCrazy working hours, because the BOD is kind of a workaholic. Bad side of government like environment (gossip and HL level in work) with added private sectors bad side (double the trouble). High level of stress environment due to pressure from all over the workplace (supervisor, BOD, colleagues, senior employee) added with a low sum of salary which did not commensurate the working hours required.
