A journey of growth at Starbucks built on teamwork, meaningful connections, and continuous learning.
The good thingsI have enjoyed building good relationships and working closely with different people. I like being able to communicate clearly and have open discussions to move things forward. I also enjoy solving problems and handling challenges, as it helps me learn and improve.
The challengesDifferent people have different views, expectations, and ways of working, which can sometimes be challenging. It requires patience and clear communication to stay aligned. At the same time, these differences help us think more broadly and make better decisions.

Its a good platform if you want to build your resume for the future. best work environment is depend on who is the Store Manager at that outlet. if he/she sucks, then the workplace will become horrible.
The good thingsHave a great career growth if you perform. Teach me to be a responsible human being develop communication skills between customer.
The challengesdont expect to go home on time. never paid OT. if you become shift supervisor and above,bye2 work life balance. The district manager will ask you why not achieve daily sales target at 2am in the morning and they expect you to reply asap.

Neither a good place for fresh to learn nor suitable for experience associate to grow.
The good thingsMonthly RM400 Starbucks allowance to redeem food and beverage at their outlet.
The challenges1. Heavy workload and inflexible working culture. 2. Very top-down and traditional rigid management. 3. Extreme office politics. 4. Lack of technical and useful practical tasks.

    Fun yet challenging!
The good thingsThe fair treatment of managers to all its employees was great & professional. Always there to help partners to learn and master the skills of being a barista. I also gained the opportunity to meet and make new friends with local partners and customers from different parts of the world and backgrounds. Something that I'm always looking forward to.
The challengesBeing a Starbucks barista is not solely about making drinks and preparing food. Based on my research and experience, as a Starbucks partner, we also manage the stocks, the finance, the cleanliness of the store, and provide excellent customer service and hospitality.

One of the best career-building organisation in East Malaysia.
The good thingsEndless opportunity to develop new skills. Training materials are easily available to all partners and anyone can advance their career regardless of how long they have been in the system as promotions are performance based and not seniority based. You get to meet people from all walks of life and expand your network if you want to.
The challengesMust have a strong business acumen once you are in a manager position and be able to make fast decisions under pressure. Must be able to keep up with the latest trends and be able to incorporate it into the business at the store level. Must have a high level of stamina and preferably be physically fit so as not to burn out when things get demanding at work.

The most terrible f&b to work
The good thingsLocation is good. Benefits is okay. Team member is great
The challengesThe top management in this company have an outdated mindset and did not take care of their people. They are never genuine with their words and action and always find faults and will only promote people who are willing to be the yes man. Oh and you will never get a work life balance because this company will use WhatsApp for communication 24 hrs and won't care if you are off or not. They treat people like robots

The environment is very warm, as baristas and shift supervisors we make the store a welcoming environment to allow guest to feel like they are at the "third place". The third place is the environment we create to make it feel like you can get work done here and enjoy our coffee while you do it.
The good thingsI'm a coffee lover, and I love the smell of coffee there and learning how to make very high quality coffee.
The challengesThe environment between partners. It should be a positive and supportive work environment, but it turned out wrong.
