    The good things- Disciplined environment - Strong and established SOPs - Staff discounts for all Berjaya entities - Opportunities to gain linear knowledge in all departments due to the Marketing Dept's policy of training all rounders. - Archived events with post-mortems for improvements.
    The challenges- Middle Management who think they know it all can be daunting.

    The good thingsGood for someone to gain experience especially fresh grad. A place where you can learn on how to manage your outdated management mindset.
    The challengesExpect no improvement on every system here as the current management is very old school. The worst is when dealing with HR department as there is no SOP on every aspect and the SOP will be different each time you ask each HR personnel's. Not recommend for a long term working career here as the salary increment is low and it is purely depends on your total company achievement, no matter how good is your individual achievement.

    The good thingscareer opportunities and advancement clearly can be seen since the first day you join the entity. For instant, the company will without delay promote you to higher position at the moment you been confirmed to regular employment. However, during the probation period, the staff must showed exceptional strength/abilities and outstanding performance in discharging his/her undertaken tasks/duties.
    The challengesYou must ensure that everything done must be in line with the Management's expectation. Management always directly involved in any given tasks, some may say that your ability to show yourself is limited. However, it is one way to show that the Management concerned on the outcome and based on this such intervention in deed will slow your ability to show your capabilities / restricted your freedom.

    The good thingsIt is well established company that provided good staff welfare for employees and the superior was supportive and having a very systematic SOP, power and decision authorization. As the manager there, we are very clear, what was our job functions and the inter- related company under the same umbrella was supportive and had a opportunities to growth with the company and the career path was good.
    The challengesThe organization was too big and sometimes the necessary documents and approval might be delay due to the red tape. The company having too many subsidiaries and lots of business nature,sometimes we might find confused and inter- company communication was a challenge caused by difference principle and objective.
