    Go ahead if you could handle plenty of stress
    The good thingsExcellent remuneration packages (petrol, toll claim, 2 month bonus every year). They encourage you to take part in Japanese language class after working hours in company, fee will be free if you pass the test (not sure they still implement or not).
    The challengesManagement expect you to complete the given tasks with minimum guidance. Bureaucratic process, a single document could take days to get all clearance as it have to approve from bottom to top management (manager, senior manager, chef of department). Initiative is a must, report your status to superior rather than they coming for you.

    Remuneration package not match with workload
    The good things2 months contractual bonus, performance bonus, food allowance, petrol allowance. It is quite attractive if only looking at the remuneration package
    The challengesLack of communication between top management, last minute decision made by top management caused staff have to keep amend work done again and again, same work done repeat more than twice. Unnecessary OT to complete task due to direction from management change always.

Management takes no responsibility, only knows how to blame. If you can agree to anything management says. This is the right place for you. Job advancement is very limited.

Have the good chance to meet with Honda people around the Asia, A great people network exposure under a big name company, You will enjoy the fame and famous when you deal with vendors. Suitable for individual who comes from low mid income family who is seeking for stable job with great benefit yet a great exposure working environment. Tons and tons of oversea training, especially for an Enginner to send over Japan, Thailand, and Not to mentions many business trip to travel to other country which Honda has the business like Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines. Good business trip allowance for you to travel even have the cash advance if you don’t have enough cash to travel. —-Great monetary benefit: 2 contracted bonus which is quite rare in the Penang——
    The challenges—Not suitable for those who is looking for work life balance and yet good opportunity and good paid.— If you are a individual who is looking for 8am-5pm then please don’t expect you will get a high paid increase at the end of the year. Unless you have some good connection with the management team which the management need your skills or afraid of you. Lastly, job rotation is always happen, and it is your luck whether can get a good boss or not. Be ready for many cross department projects! Suitable for those people-oriented personality. Honda implement many in house system which you may find it difficult to relate your experience with other jobs in other industries unless you plan to apply your new job in the motorcycle industry again

    The good things2 months contractual bonus, toll claim, mileage claim, extra EPF employer contribution. You can learn to work INDEPENDENTLY.
    The challengesYou may not learn how to work correctly/effectively as there is basically no guidance from superior. Responsibility often delegated inter and intra department. You can only do as what your boss say, idea are not appreciated. You will be \"punished\" during year end performance review if you are doing better than your boss. You will be \"awarded\" during year end performance review if you are a Yes Man. Basically there is no respect on individual rights. No people development.

    The challengesIf you are reporting directly under top management, there will be huge burden on your shoulder and you are require to work OT almost everyday. No Life only Work. Other than that you are require to encounter all sorts of politics on daily basis in order to get your job done.
