Gaining Invaluable Experience as an Intern: A Remarkable JourneyThe good thingsDuring my internship at Celcom Axiata Berhad, a renowned telecommunications company, I gained practical experience and applied my knowledge in a professional setting. The training spanned from July 25, 2022, to October 14, 2022.
As an intern at Celcom Axiata Berhad, I had the privilege of working alongside a team in the Network Transformation Office. This role allowed me to contribute to various projects and initiatives to enhance the company’s network infrastructure and services.
During my internship, I had the chance to observe and participate in the planning, implementing, and monitoring network activities. I was exposed to the latest technologies and industry best practices, gaining insights into the telecommunications sector’s inner workings.
Working closely with professionals in the field, I developed a deeper understanding of network optimization, performance analysis, and troubleshooting techniques. I also had the opportunity to utilize my technical skills, where I created Microsoft PowerApps and worked on Excel Dashboards and Excel Power Query. Additionally, I effectively applied my technical skills by engaging in site visits and actively assisting in event network setup.
This internship experience at Celcom Axiata Berhad provided me with invaluable exposure to real-world telecommunications operations. It allowed me to enhance my technical competencies further, adapt to a professional work environment, and cultivate essential teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of Celcom Axiata Berhad’s internship program, as it has significantly contributed to my professional growth and provided me with a practical foundation for my future career in the IT and telecommunication industry.
The challengesI was an intern for only 3 months so I don't really have any challenges when working there. It was all fun and enjoyable.
