Even though the one year was the most stressful and challenging of my entire career. I would have to thank CIMB Bank for the opportunity and also to my partners/ colleagues from other division that allowed me to learn and gain valuable knowledge in the consumer marketing banking line and also the digital journey a bank product would require to grow and gain audience.
The good thingsStructured and processed driven
The challengesImmediate boss has a bad temperament. Most of the time was on MC and when back in office will be micro managing. HOD would just allow it to happen.

The company would not appreciate their own staff. Great company to join if your ex-boss ask you to join them there, else pls avoid as much as you can.
The good thingsGetting paid even if you don’t work
The challengesOffice politic and cronyism from top to bottom, don’t join via typical recruitment as you have zero chance to get promoted if you are not hired by “connection”.

Quite eye-opening and insightful and the work can be more enjoyable if there's a more healthier environment for the seniors and juniors alike. The training program was the most fun experience, learnt a lot here at CIMB.
The good things- Cooperative team and mentor - Events - Training
The challenges- Workload - Hierarchy - No parking/travelling allowance

Demotivated to worked as Manager and above. Scenario happened AM salary can be up to RM13.5k per month.
The good thingsGood for Union Staff (Low Rank Position: Assistant Manager and below). Fixed annual increment and salary adjustment every 3 years, one off festival payment.
The challengesExtremely Bad remuneration package for Manager and above, having more workload than lower ranking staff with underpaid salary, increment for promotion is just similar to the salary adjusted for Union Staff. Many Feedback to GCEO, HR but no action was taken.
